Abu Sufyan ibn Harb (c. 567- 634) was a prominent leader of the Quraysh tribe in Mecca and a staunch opponent of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. He was initially a staunch opponent of Islam and played a significant role in the early persecution of Muslims in Mecca.
However, Abu Sufyan eventually converted to Islam after the Muslim army conquered Mecca in 630. He participated in the various battles, including the Battle of Badr, Battle of Uhud, and the Battle of the Trench.
